Copywriter & Marketing Strategist
I'm a professional copywriter and marketing strategist based in the Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island. I'm also the former Regional Director for British Columbia of the Professional Writers Association of Canada.
I specialize in writing high-impact marketing collateral, including media releases, ads, web sites, white papers and direct mail. Some of my clients include Torry & Sons, Casa Bay Inc. and the Eminata Group, owners of educational brands like CDI College and University Canada West.
A graduate with distinction of Concordia University’s School of Journalism in Montreal, I've been writing professionally for more than a decade. I relocated to Vancouver Island in 2002, where I became Marketing Coordinator for Comox Valley Tourism and later studied Marketing at North Island College.
In June 2008, I founded Ryan Parton Writing Solutions as an independent copywriting firm. Since then, I've helped many businesses, corporations and organizations develop highly effective promotional materials and substantially increase the return on investment from their marketing initiatives.
I'm also co-founder and executive editor of the Comox Valley Business Gazette.
