A small sample of past clients for whom I’ve prepared and facilitated workshops include the City of Nanaimo, Metro Community College in Edmonton and Edmonton’s CDI College.

As a business owner, I’ve experienced countless “uncomfortable conversations” with employees. I’ve learned the secret, however, to effecting a positive outcome in these conversations, and I can teach these skills to employees of the Ministry so that they too can approach these conversations without trepidation or fear.

I am a certified adult educator, life skills coach and master practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a technique that allows one to quickly assess a person or group’s learning style or underlying anxieties and respond accordingly. I can teach the basic skills of NLP to workshop participants so that they will have the skills to quickly alleviate fear, anger and frustration, and to read the unconscious body language of the person with whom they’re conversing.

My workshops follow a hands-on, experiential format in which we draw from the actual experiences of participants to demonstrate the keys to communication behaviours. My time-tested methodology solicits a direct response from participants and actively engages them in absorbing and internalizing the subject matter. My workshops are easily delivered in 3.5 hours, and my methodology has always resulted in behaviours that are relevant, effective and easy to practice. Participants from the Ministry will be absolutely amazed by how simple and effective the process actually is!

Over many years of facilitating training programs I’ve developed an efficient project management plan that keeps me focused and ensures that I consistently meet my deadlines. This plan also contains a contingency for a qualified and experienced backup facilitator.
